Reed Turned 10!

Our baby boy turned 10. Where has the time gone?? We celebrated at different times during the week. On Sunday, Erin and Kelly had us for dinner at their house. We love going over there, visiting, and enjoying their backyard. The kids always get so excited to go. They played some baseball, soccer, and just ran around having fun. We had delicious low country boil and topped it off with summer cake. We were saying that pretty soon Mom and Dad will be there too. We can't wait. Oscar was being so grown up and helpful. He was in charge of lighter duty and helping with the candles. We sure love Reed! He is amazing, and has so many talents. We have said since he was a baby that he is an old spirit in a little body. He always is saying "I can't wait to grow up and....." I'm always trying to remind him to not grow up too fast. Stay young, and enjoy being a kid. He sure blesses our lives.

May Vortex

Lindsay introduced me to the "The May Vortex". I thought that was a brilliant description of how May was going for us. I think it is a crazy month for everyone. I took this picture last week when we were going over the schedule for the next day. Most of the stuff isn't even on here! I'm glad school is almost over- I'm excited for summer. We all need a break. 

Field Day at Fremont

Yesterday I was in charge of field day at our school. We had a superhero theme.  I think everyone had a great time, including Oscar and Sophie when they were able to play with the kids on the bounce house. They were troopers and made it all day. Reed took Oscar with him all afternoon and he got to do the activities with him. Sophie was tired, and just wanted to hang out with me. Morgan wanted to wear her "funky" socks with her superman shirt. I am glad that she has the confidence to wear what she wants. I love doing this, but I told them I am retiring from field day.  After four years, I'm done. I'll help, but not be in charge. 

Sophie is Possesive

We were at the church gym this morning watching the boys play basketball. There's another little girl about Sophie's age and it's cracked me up at how jealous and possessive she is of me. The closer the little girl was trying to get to me, the more Sophie was climbing on me. I'll take it as a compliment!

More Snow....

Now I Am Bragging

Look how gigantic these peaches are! The first picture the other day was from our early tree. These peaches are supposed to ripen up two weeks later, but have ripened quickly and they're falling to the ground, so I decided just to go ahead and pick them. They were also breaking our branches. Time to find out if I really like canning.....

McCray's Birthday Dinner

Look what McCray wants for his birthday dinner- Pioneer Woman's  jalapeno poppers thingies. This and steak are all our 11 year old could dream of. Anyone want to come for dinner?
