Hello, this is Maria Miles.....

I just got home from my temporary little job. I am making customer satisfaction survey calls for Educators Mutual Health Insurance company. I am the person I hate who calls and bothers me at dinner time. Now I am the culprit! I am amazed at how many people are nice and actually do it. I have been pleasantly surprised. I guess when it is a company that you have something to do with, it is more motivating to give your comments. I have been working 2-3 hours M-Th so it hasn't
been too bad. Kent has been doing a good job holding down the fort.

We have a sick house this week. It started out as a cold which some of us had, and now Reed has been VERY sick for a couple of days. I took him to the Dr. yesterday, and she said it is a bad virus that is going around. She said it last about 5 days. I SOOO hope that we don't all have to get it. He's been miserable. Today was such a beautiful day. I was wishing that Reed was better so that we could walk to school. I Love getting out and walking. We all miss it if we don't get out.

Kent is liking his job. He enjoys the whole investment subject, and when he gets the whole system figured out, he will be loving it. Too bad we don't have tons of money for him to practice with!

That is the excitement for the day!

So do you go to some "location" for your calls or do you do it from home? I imagine they are recorded. I am glad this is working out. This is just the temporary part time job isn't it? How much longer will you do this?

So sorry about Reedy-pie. That is not FUN for anyone!

I do it from their office, which happens to be right around the corner, so it is nice. It is just temporary, but there is still a lot of work left, so it will probably be another month or so. Reed is perking up a little, and wants pizza, so hopefully that means we are on the way up?

Poor Reed. Let's hear it for feet slathered in Vicks Vap-o-Rub! (I read the thing. Thanks.) I'm going to try it next time. My essential oils friend sure seems to agree. It reminds me of the Fuller Brush man trying to cure T's diabetes with reflexology--but better.

Wow, I hate sick! Ammon isn't really doing the serious fever thing... he's just got a really watery cough. What's this vicks on the feet thing? Is that for the fever or the yuck?

Oh, by the way... I love it that you have a blog!

Another little side note... I think we're going to have to pass on the Halloween party this year. I'm pretty sure that Kurt and Pauline wouldn't appreciate our spreading the love. Bummer.
