I've been struggling to get a post done. I have been busy, but also at a loss for cute pictures to share, or wonderful things going on. I feel like I have been just putting out fires and doing whatever has to be done most in that very moment. My kids have been wearing short sleeved shirts and Camille even wore capri's to school twice last week. Not because it is time for them yet, but because she has no clean pants. I can't seem to get on top of it. I just do enough to get by until the next laundry/cleaning crisis. I usually ALWAYS fold my laundry right away, and last week I had four loads in line, waiting to be folded. I finally got them all folded and put away, only to find laundry spilling out of the hamper needing to be washed. I think laundry is not my friend.
I promise to find something more exciting to post soon. Between now and then I will be praying that no one unexpected comes to my door. :)

I love your post! It's not boring at all, it made me chuckle!:) My cleaning lady tells me my kids have too many clothes and to get rid of half them and my problems would be solved!;)
I like Melody's idea. In fact, I have limited my kids clothes to one box. So when people give us hand-me-downs, I go through them and force myself to weed it down to one box no matter how cute. It seems to help with laundry situation for me.
I liked your post too. A photo of a pile of laundry would be funny but we like posts even w/o photos.
Good suggestions. So, does having less clothes make it easier to get laundry done, or does it force you to do it more often so they have something to wear?
We all have things we don't like to do around the house. I personally we rather do laundry than vacuum or clean the bathroom. So I can find clothes but...
You need some good Jane Austin movies to watch while folding laundry. That is the only way I enjoy folding laundry:)

I can totally relate!!! I have 3 piles of laundry on my bed that need to be folded. What a pain!
You make a good point about having less clothes! It's never seemed as bad as it is now though. Maybe it's Olivia, (the house cleaners) way of telling me I'm lazy but in a nice way! :)
At least you have some clean clothes! Last night Bruce had to inform me he has no clean undergarments and "are there any clean towels?" and Isaac was sent to school in shorts out of his dirty basket and Ammon is still in his pajamas. Having less clothes does make the washing easier (no scratch that... faster), but it still doesn't wash it's self!
Maria, I feel your pain. I did 5 loads the day you wrote this post. Today I did another four. Remember though, I am "Maureen, Maureen, the Laundry Queen". We started the less clothes thing when the boys were younger and it just meant doing laundry more often. It's a trade off - tons of laundry all at once or laundry a lot more often.
I'm of the "lots of laundry on long intervals" mentality. Maybe it goes back to the laundromat days. I used to be able to fill 5 triple loaders at a time and dry, fold, and hang it all in 3 hours. Now it's like water torture doing it load by load!
