Date with Morgan

The other day, Morgan and I got to go on a little date to the Discovery Museum. Jossue and his Grandma met us there. She had extra passes to get in, so she invited us to come along on a day when she had him. I hadn't met her before, but really enjoyed getting to know her. Jossue is very lucky that his Grandma can help watch him. She is a neat lady. I don't know if Morgan and I have ever done anything like this alone. It was nice. I was very impressed with the museum, and wished that we could take all of the kids there. It had some really fun things to try. I couldn't believe how many kids there were. It was packed!

Morgan and Jossue had fun driving the truck. Of course she is in the drivers seat. That is Morgan. Poor Jossue, she is in charge. It is funny- when he comes, she is ALWAYS stealing his shoes and socks. Poor kid. Everytime I turn around, she has them on, and gets all bent out of shape when I make her take them off and give them back. He probably just succombs and hands them over to her. Not worth the hassle. :)

They both enjoyed dressing up as firemen. They didn't want to take the costumes off. We let them wear them for awhile.

Morgan's favorite place of all was a huge water station that they had. She loves playing in water. It has little balls that you can play with and all sorts of utensil type things to use. She wanted to play there for a long time.

We had a great time. It is a treat to get to spend alone time with the kids. Morgan is quite the gal, and I love her to pieces.
