My Last Day

Can I just sigh a HUGE sigh of relief? Today is my last day working at Myanswering.com. I have known that we were just trying to finish out this month, pay a few more moving expenses off, and then I could quit. And I have made it! Hooray! As thrilled as I am, it will also be a little sad. It has been a very interesting place to work, but a good one too. There are not many jobs where you get paid to work on projects, blog, scrapbook, cut coupons, make cards, write in your journal, read, and who knows what else I have done. I have been here for almost 2 years, and I have accomplished a lot. I never thought that I would be here for that long. When I started, it was upsetting to me that I had to get a job, and I think the only way I could handle it was to think that it was going to be very temporarily- like 3 months or something. That was a slight underestimate, but it made me feel better. I guess you just handle things a day at a time, and you can get through it. In a lot of ways it has been good for me. I have enjoyed this type of work. I have found that I really like working with and talking to people. One of my other favorite jobs was working at Sam's club. For the same reason...the people. I certainly had my eyes opened when I started. I had been home in my own little world with Kent and the kids for 7 years, and was pretty much shocked at the people that I worked with at first. Thankfully they got rid of that element, and I have made some very nice friends here as well. The bad part or working is when your kids cry when you have to leave, the homework is not done, dinner is not made, etc. Maybe that is the good part? Going to work in peace and quiet. Just kidding. (With a little bit of truth)

So, I finally uploaded some pictures, and will do some posts. They are pretty much old news things, but I need to get them on here, for history's sake. So bare with me, and I will do a little catch up. I took some "after" house pictures last night, but didn't get them uploaded. So I will get those on there soon. Stay tuned........

Its fun to read your posts. I really like the gun show, and would like to take you up on your offer, we just need to figure out when.

All the cousins are sure cute. We would love to live closer to all the action.

Congratulations on your last day! I knew you weren't working any more Saturdays, but I didn't realize you were quitting altogether.

The gun show was hilarious. Isaac is now walking around yelling, "I have tickets to the gun show!" He's a little crazy himself!

Yay for not working! I love updates too.

It's nice to be able to finish a job and move on to the next thing. Hopefully this next "thing" can work out even better!
