Can't Stand it!
Ok, I think I am kind of pathetic, but I am so excited for Erin and Kelly to have their baby. I can hardly stand it. I talked to Erin a little while ago, and was telling her that I am having a "mini" vicarious moment. You would think by the way I am feeling and how excited and nervous I am, that I was having the baby. I can't wait to meet him, and see who he looks like. AND, because I am me, I NEED to know his name. No more calling him BABY. Can you tell that I am excited too? Silly, but so much fun. Now, if he can just be like his parents and be punctual, that would be good. :) Aaron and Jessica are having their baby in the next couple of weeks too, and I am so excited for them too. They didn't find out what they were having, so it will be so great to find out what they have. Then Ilene and Jay are having their little girl in a couple of months. SO MUCH FUN! I think it is that much more fun now that our kids are bigger, and I don't have a baby of my own to worry about. I can just enjoy the babies- and give them back when they have diarrhea up their back!
We have been praying for all three mom's and babies every day, that everything will go well for all of you. Even the kids don't forget. AND, if anyone else needs us to add you onto the list, just let us know. Ok, that is a bad joke, but I thought it was pretty funny. :)
I better get back to work. Because you know, I have tons of spare time today. HA!HA!
I am throwing a kindergarten party by myself tomorrow (doing everything ), need to finish a ton of typing, make costumes, go Visiting teaching, go shopping, take care of some kids, and play with Mom and Erin. Better get going! Have a great day everyone!

Morgan's Birthday
Our baby girl turned 3 on September 24th. It is hard to believe that she is that old. Except that she definitely reminds me constantly that she is not a baby, she is a big girl. Ok, maybe a little girl, but I can't go with big girl yet. We were still very crazy on Morgan's birthday. We have a hard time being all home at the same time. So one night the kid's and I did Morgan's presents out in the front yard. We had a really fun time. She opened her presents and we all had a lot of fun.
Morgan got a Barbie dress up set. We all had fun with it too. Morgan didn't really love wearing the wig and other stuff, but we left in on long enough for a picture.
The rest of us took our turns trying on the costume. I was laughing my head off.
Camille was contemplating getting her ears pierced, so she was loving these clip on earrings. I found her with them on a lot, and also checking herself in the mirror.
This is "McCray-la". He can't even come close to pulling this off. He sure had fun trying and was totally cracking himself up!
Ok, all you Payne Folk, check out this picture of Reed. ( Or Rita ) Who does he look like? You have to put your answer in the comments. So far, everyone that I have shown this to, who knows better, guesses exactly who Reed looks like. What do you think?
I even got in on the action. Needless to say, I will never even try this.
We had a great evening. I love having the time to play with the kids. I need to take the time more often, because they are so much fun. We did have cake for Morgie, I will have to put it in a different post. I sure love you Morgan!

Fall
Autumn is definitely here. But in our yard, I think it is much more appropriate to call it FALL. We have some beautiful trees, that I LOVE in the summer. But they are losing their leaves, and it is a big job to keep up with them. The other night, the kids had a ball playing with, and enjoying the leaves. They made a house out of leaves. They lined out the rooms, doors, and outline of a house. It was pretty neat. Then they started to bury McCray. I don't know how he could stand it, but he stayed under these leaves for longer than I ever could. He said that he covered his face with his hands, and he was able to breathe. Uggh.
You can tell that it didn't bother him too much. He was having fun.
On Saturday we raked up the leaves in our front yard. We spent most of the morning and afternoon out there working, and raked up 13 bags of leaves. Just as we were finishing up, the weather turned cloudy, and the wind started to blow. And we are now back to where we started from. We need to rake the leaves in our yard.

Camille got her ears pierced
After
13th Ward Autumn Blast
Our ward had it's annual 13th ward Autumn Blast. It was a really fun night of food, visiting, and entertainment. We had chili, corn bread, and desserts. The primary kids were in charge of making desserts. We don't have very many kids in primary, and I wondered how many desserts there would actually be. Camille, McCray and Reed all wanted to make something of their own. It was a little overwhelming at first, but it ended up being really fun.
Reed wanted to make brownies. That was pretty easy, and with some frosting and sprinkles, turned out pretty cute.
McCray wanted to make cookies. We made cake mix cookies from a fun-fetti cake mix. They are VERY easy, and they are good. At least McCray and I like them. So we frosted them, put some cute sprinkles on them too, and there you go. McCray's cookies. ( They got a little smooshed in transit trying to get out the door. Oh well, the were still eaten with no problems)
Camille decided to be a little more difficult, and wanted to make cinnamon rolls. I have been using a new bread recipe that is incredibly easy. So with very little assistance, Camille made some mini cinnamon rolls. I had taught her a few weeks ago, and I was very impressed, because she really did make them mostly on her own. I figure if I teach her how to do it now, I can sit back in the future, and let her do the baking! :)
I am glad that the ward had the kids do this. I really had a good time teaching each of the kids how to make their dessert, and just spending a little time alone with each of them. They are getting so big so fast, I keep thinking that I had better enjoy all of these little moments with them, because before I know it, I won't be so cool , and they will have other things to do that are more fun than cooking with Mom. For now though, I am going to enjoy it.
