McCray's Pectus Carinatum

I have noticed this problem for about 3 years, and every year at his well check, I would ask the Dr about it. This year she finally was ready to refer him on to do something about it. So we made an appointment at Primary Childrens Medical Center with a specialist. She also thought that we should pursue treatment, and recommended a bracing specialist from New Jersey. Gratefully he comes to Utah a few times a year, and would be coming out a few months later. There were other providers and types of braces that he could have had, but they were very big, bulky, and not as effective. Cheaper, but not better. So we decided to have him seen by Joe at Pectus Services from New Jersey.
I had to take pictures so that Joe could make a brace in New Jersey, and then bring it out with him to Salt Lake for his appointment. It is pretty amazing that from the pictures we sent, he can tell how exactly to make the brace.

Valentines Party

I had a fun Valentine's party for Morgan, and the kids in the ward her age. It was really fun, and the kids seemed to enjoy it. Sometimes I think that these parties are as much fun for me to plan, as they are for the kids. I love planning parties.

We decorated sugar cookies.

Played pin the face on Mrs. Valentine.

After those games, the kids just wanted to play with the toys, and their friends. It was fun, and got me primed for the class Valentine's party that I had to plan and throw for Reed's class. So much fun for one week.

Discovery Museum

We took Oscar, Morgan, and Morgan's friends Maya and Calea to the Discovery Gateway to play one morning. They had a ball. There are so many fun things for kids of all ages to do. Morgans favorite place to play is in the grocery store. They have these little baskets, and food to put in them. Then, they got to use the cash registers to check themselves out. Oscar has started to really enjoy playing too. He especially likes the cars.

Winter Sports

We had a good time with the kids playing basketball this winter. Even Morgan got in on the action. She was in a little class where they played kickball for a month, soccer for a month, and basketball for a month. She LOVED it. She has sat through a lot of games so I guess it is only fair that she got her turn. I think, like the other kids, she liked the uniform and the treats the best.

Christmas in Cedar And St George

Our family spent Christmas morning at Grandma and Grandpa Miles house. We had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed spending a little time with Brent, Gina and Christian. That was a treat! We loved getting hugs from Christian. He is so cute. We had Christmas Eve at Aaron and Jessica's house and had a lot of fun, good food and really enjoyed spending time with them.

On Christmas day, we met some more family down in St George at Uncle Scott's house. We played some fun games, and had a great dinner. The only bad part was that it ended too fast. We love spending time with cousins and family.

One of our games was called "Who has the best rack?" We divided into teams, and the teams had to make antlers by stuffing balloons into panty hose. We had some pretty good laughs.

This is Emma, Bruce and Mandi's daughter. What a cute little deer.

Our lucky players.

After all of the festivities, we went to the temple and walked around. They have lights around the grounds at Christmas time. It is always nice to be in St George, and especially to be there with family.

Camille's 1st Piano Recital

Camille had her first piano recital in January. She did a very nice job, and didn't seem too nervous.
