Erin grabbed a camera this morning, because it has been so funny lately. When she drops Oscar off in the morning, it is usually when the kids are waking up and wanting a little snuggle. If there are any kids on my lap, Oscar immediately starts whining and demands to get up and claim his spot on my lap. This morning right before this picture was taken, he smugly took his place on my lap, then leaned back, crossed his feet, and was basking in his position on my lap. It was hilarious. Little does he know that he is going to have to compete for lap time at home soon too. It pays to be the Baby! I love to be so popular. Most of the time anyways...

Morgan's 4th Birthday
Miss Morgan turned 4 on Friday. What a big girl she is getting to be. We celebrated on Friday and had a great day. The big kids were out of school, so we did some fun things. We took everyone to Red Robin (with library coupons) for a birthday dinner. She thought that was pretty fun.
We celebrated tonight with cake and presents. She wanted a princess cake. That seemed easy enough, I thought. So I bought a barbie, and thought we were good to go. Well, I didn't quite make the cake tall enough for her legs to stand up straight in the cake. This Barbie didn't have knees that bend. So, as usual, I had to improvise.
I find myself doing that a lot. I have good ideas, great intentions, but things usually don't work out just right. My middle name should be "wing it".
Morgan got a nightlight, lip gloss, and a shopping cart with food in it. She thought that was pretty neat. She also got some money to go to the store with. She should have fun with that!
Temple Square
We had a great time on Labor Day weekend with the Miles family. They had come for the baptism, but we were able to do some fun things while they were here.

We went to the Great Salt Lake. It was...salty. And stinky. But fin, and good to say that we have seen it. We went inside the Saltair building. That was something to say that you have seen before, but not necessarily see again. :)

On Sunday night we went to Temple Square and walked around. We also went in some of the Visitors Centers.
McCrays Baptism
Grandma Miles spoke on baptism, and Grandpa Payne sent a talk for Mom to read on the Holy Ghost. It was special to have grandparents give talks at your baptism.
McCray had a wonderful group of family and friends there to support him. I am sad that this picture came out blurry.
We had a great weekend spending time with family and friends after the baptism. We are blessed to have such wonderful family and friends.

That Can't Be Comfortable
I just had to take a picture of the way McCray sleeps. Every single night McCray sleeps with his neck up on the the railing of his bunk bed. It is amazing that he doesn't wake up with a neck ache. It makes my neck ache just watching it!
