Autumn is definitely here. But in our yard, I think it is much more appropriate to call it FALL. We have some beautiful trees, that I LOVE in the summer. But they are losing their leaves, and it is a big job to keep up with them. The other night, the kids had a ball playing with, and enjoying the leaves. They made a house out of leaves. They lined out the rooms, doors, and outline of a house. It was pretty neat. Then they started to bury McCray. I don't know how he could stand it, but he stayed under these leaves for longer than I ever could. He said that he covered his face with his hands, and he was able to breathe. Uggh.
You can tell that it didn't bother him too much. He was having fun.
On Saturday we raked up the leaves in our front yard. We spent most of the morning and afternoon out there working, and raked up 13 bags of leaves. Just as we were finishing up, the weather turned cloudy, and the wind started to blow. And we are now back to where we started from. We need to rake the leaves in our yard.

McCray looks like Mr. Autumn in those leaves--or Jack Frost. We have a similar challenge when the temperatures drop. E has taken to saying, "Our trees got sick." But it IS fun to play in the leaves.

That's a lot of leaves! Very cute photos of the kids.
