July 4th Weekend

We had a really nice 4th of July weekend. We were able to go down to Cedar City and visit Kent's family. We hadn't been home for awhile, and it was nice to be there, and see some of the family. Kent also had his 20 year HS reunion. We were able to attend it, and we had a great time. Kent has some nice friends, and they have nice wives. It was a really busy weekend attending reunion activities. We never have as much time as we would like when we go down there. One thing we do every year, is go to the little parade they have. This was the best year ever, because we were late, and we stood in the shade. It is always so hot that by the end, you wonder why in the world you are there. They have a party in the park, where you usually run into friends and people that you know. We went to that, and had a good time. They have a fishing booth every year. We usually let the kids do that at the beginning, and they are happy the rest of the time.

Sunday night we went up to the cabin on Cedar Mountain. Grandma and Grandpa Miles had a Cousin Camp for the grandkids, and a lot of them were able to come. We stayed up there for one night. It was beautiful! I wish that we could have spent more time there. Except, maybe not during cousin camp. :) I was amazed at my in-laws. They had so many fun activities planned, and they had so many kids there. They are brave!!! It was a little sad to leave the kids. I got a little teary for a few minutes. The kids didn't get sad at all. Hmm.
